Honey Cake (Meduolis)
Preheat oven to 325F.
1. Bring honey just to a boil; cool.
2. Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks one at a time. Add cooled honey and beat well.
3. Combine dry ingredients and add to egg mixture, alternating with sour cream; stir in nuts.
4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
5. Fold beaten egg whites into batter.
6. Pour mixture into 10-inch tube pan and bake for 1 hour.
